This Celtic Band, based in Brasstown and Murphy, NC was formed in 2006. The ladies in this group have performed for Scottish and Celtic festivals, civic events, private parties, weddings, poetry readings, dances, church settings and assisted living facilities in the tri-state area.

The members of this all - girl band are: Linda Allen (fiddle), Amanda Burts (recorder and accordion) Nancy Beach (guitar, mandolin, mountain dulcimer & vocals) and Amy Johnson (bodhran, guitar & vocals). The ensemble’s repertoire features a unique blend of jigs, reels, waltzes, hornpipes, and strathspey, each traditional to Scotland and Ireland. Linda, Amanda, Nancy & Amy all have played in other groups and have a vast musical experience, which gives a depth to their performances.

After five years together they have developed a unique blending of talents resulting in exceptional performances that please all types of audiences.  They just recorded their SECOND “live” CD on Bayless Street. The new title is “CELTIC BEAR”. We have copies for sale at BEAR PAGES.  It is a nice combination of vocals and instrumentals.
